EXHIBITION
IMAGO CORPORIS 2011

I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to exhibit as part of the Photomonth East London Photography exhibition which promoted your exhibit during a month event around Hoxton. The only stipulation on the exhibitor's part was to find and set up your exhibition yourself - just let the organisers know where, when and availability to view. This time I had an agreement with an osteopathy clinic to exhibit in their surgery windows. My ideas ran in the lines of osteopathy... the human body... different sports or occupation... different muscle development or injuries...

What does one look for when you look at a human body? I am always fascinated wondering if the person has a specific intention or is the shape of their body mainly a result of what they do. We always have preconceptions of what we want our bodies t look like. However what we want and what we are may not be the same thing. How many of us are happy with our own body? So here are some images for you to think about.

And there you go... a whole series of images resulted for the exhibition, with a fantastic response from my fencing friends and their friends for volunteering to pose in their chosen field of expertise... their Imago Corporis.
